Maths investigation

In room 4 we have made a maths investigation and I made mine about what activities room 3 and room 4  do when they are not at school.

I have been learning my mihi all year and I have learnt it off by heart. I have made an imovie of my mihi. I hope you like it!!

Kakapo research

Imogen and I had to do some research about living taonga. We chose to make a slideshow about kakapo. Here is a presentation of our information so I hope you like it.

Tuatara slideshow

In room 4 we have been learning about living taonga so we had  to make a slideshow of what we have learnt about tuataras.

Climbing wall

Our turn was finally over and it was time for our group to play squash…… I had excitedly asked Lanie “ What wall do you want to climb first?” . The first wall that I climbed looked easy so I tried to climb up it but it was not as easy as I thought. The wall I climbed looked like a big tall apartment building and every square was a different colour. Later that hour I tried climbing a wall blindfolded. It took me a while to get to the top because I couldn’t find a hole. As I climbed higher and higher I could feel sweat breaking in my skin and that made my hands slippery, which caused nerves because I thought that I would slip and fall. So I might have hurt myself,but luckily I didn’t. At last I made it to the top and pushed the button, which took about a minute to find. Then I took off the hat and I could see again. I loved the climbing walls. I wish that we could go back there again. Then finally our turn was over...

Today in room 4 we are setting up individual blogs. This is my first time blogging and this is a special thing that only year 4's get to do. I am very excited  to be having my own blog. I hope you enjoy it.
